No, it’s not some weird censorship.
The power at our house has gone out. I don’t have an Iphone either.
So I’m typing this very brief post on my cell phone to inform you that you will have to wait until tomorrow to hear from a new band for the site.
I think i’ll call it “Flippin’ blackout Friday”, but do note that some words have been changed to preserve the PG rating of the site.

I hope you enjoy what has become my set of three posts tonight. Obviously (I hope), the first post was intended as a joke to buy me time as I wrote my real post.
And I promise that I plan to return next week — AFTER the high school graduation and this year’s Wheel Horse tractor show in Arendtsville, Pennsylvania — with an actual music video session!
That being said, I thought I should also inform you that I’ve been voted most likely to be called a D-bag on YouTube. Oh, wait… I already have! And I’m not censoring myself for this site; I really did receive a comment that began by addressing me as “D-bag, …”
That was funny to me, and I hope you appreciate it, too. The funniest part is that I didn’t delete the comment and decided to reply in my typically polite manner with an undertone of sarcasm.

Hey folks! On Sunday night, I ordered a nifty new webcam for my computer: the Logitech Quickcam Vision Pro. It’s especially made for the Mac and now I’ll be able to do high-definition Laptop Sessions for your viewing pleasure. The idea is that people will want to watch a higher quality video more than my standard def low-light versions.
That is, until people see what I REALLY look like in high-def! 🙂
Anyway, it was supposed to come in today, but alas, it did not. I simply can’t put forth another standard-definition Laptop Sessions cover song here on the music blog, so I’m here to say that I’ll be back for my regularly scheduled Laptop Session tomorrow night.

On the way to work this morning, I was mentally running through all the things I have to do today, seeing as how it is my first day back to school after the weekend. Mondays are always tough like that…
And that’s when I realized it’s not Monday.
No, indeed, it is not Monday. Which is complicated further by the fact that I spent ten minutes this morning donating to the Woody Guthrie Foundation so that I could, with a clear conscience, download and learn a song that I want to play for this week’s Chris Moore Monday.
Instead, as I was listening to the song on my way to work, I realized that I completely missed the boat. But, rest assured, there will be a Chris Moore cover song this week…
It just won’t be posted on a Monday.
Things to look forward to later today:
– My post, edited with my administrative priviledges to look as though it had been posted yesterday.
– A brand-new song, recently released as a download-only track.
– At least one bad pun on the fact that I DIDN’T use my “memory” on “Memorial” Day.
