WCJM Free Internet Radio Station: “The WCJM is Stuck in Your Head Show” – 2001

By WCJM Free Internet Radio:

After a long time without a show, the first show with all seven cast members was put on.  On Saturday, July 28, Jim planned on having Jeff Copperthite and Chris Moore over.  But then, Jim figured, why not get the rest of the cast over?  Alberto had broken his wrist a week earlier and had nothing better to do, and Mike was already in the house.  All that was needed was Dave and Matt.  So, the night before, Jim called Dave (who wasn’t home).  Dave called back later and agreed to do the show.  Jim then called Matt, who agreed to do the show as well.

Jim and Jeff went to Radio Shack to get another microphone splitter in order to get everyone their own microphone.  (Matt was soft throughout the show, although he can still be heard through most).  Chris and Alb were fifteen minutes late (they were due at twelve), but that didn’t matter- Dave wouldn’t be there until four-o-clock!  So, the cast sat down and set up the free Internet radio show and talked until Dave arrived.  Four-o-clock came around, but Dave didn’t!  He was caught up at the airport at a flying lesson, so the cast had to start without him.  But Mike did a great impression of Dave and covered for his absence.  Dave arrived about a half an hour later and completed the seven-member cast.

Other than Matt being very soft, the show went perfectly!  No mess-ups and perfect timing rounded out the longest show to date: 148 minutes!  Edward the non-midget pun artist, Dr. Keck, the Food Critic, Traffic, News and Weather, Who Wants to Be A Millionaire, the Absolutely Nothing Promo, The Price is Right, Useless News, Alberto’s Top Ten List, Award Show Skits, and Stuffy D. Bear combined to make this show hilarious!

Everyone was given a chance to put on songs that got stuck in their heads and made for a nice mixture of music styles.  Jim and Chris were even able to play their first recorded song, “Walkin’ in the Dark.”  (All of Jim and Chris’s songs are copyrighted 2001 by Fusco-Moore Productions, a subsidiary of WCJM Internet Radio Co. and stealing their material is punishable by horrendous acts of discipline).  Chris Moore even got to do the REAL hosting job for this show!  And as always, WCJM hopes that this free Internet radio show will be stuck in your head for years to come!

WCJM Free Internet Radio Station: “The Complaining Show” – 2003

By WCJM Free Internet Radio:

This show was a reunion for the WCJM free Internet radio cast in 2003. Jim wanted to get the cast back together for one last time before everyone went back to school. Unfortunately, Dave cancelled at the last minute, preventing a complete reunion of the cast. However, a new addition to the show, Becky Daly, joined up with Chris, Jim, Mike, Alberto, Matt, and Jeff for this show.

This show is based on the fact that it seems like all the skits on WCJM are complaining about something! Whether it’s the Food Critic complaining about food, Matt complaining about the world in his stand-up comedy segments, or Dr. K just complaining about his life (and height), the skits always give something to laugh at, so WCJM’s Morning Show decided to make a show completely devoted to complaining.

All the songs on this show are also about complaining. There’s Live’s “What Are We Fighting For?”, the Beach Boys’ “I’m Bugged At My Old Man”, and J Geils Band’s “Love Stinks”, just to name a few. This gave the cast a chance to pick some unique songs and, of course, fit within WCJM’s “Every show has a theme” model.

This show has to be the funniest Morning Show to date because the cast was so comfortable with writing skits and laughing at them, too! Matt’s two Subway skits were perfect in writing and delivery, Jim’s usual World Report and Food Critic segments featured Jim finally working out the “filler” in his act, Jeff gave his funniest Ronco promo ever, and Chris even wrote his own, hilarious, skit with Mike playing Dave! Stuffy D. Bear is the poster bear for complaining and his memorable appearance on this show will go down as one of the edgiest segments ever on a WCJM broadcast. Even though Mike had a lack of material for this show, the laughing between him and Alberto always gave a good background and a good mood!

The Complaining Show is also in stereo, so listen with headphones to hear EVERYTHING that’s said between all seven members of the WCJM free internet radio team. Enjoy this stupid show- oops, got into the complaining theme a little too much- and be prepared to laugh!

WCJM Free Internet Radio Station: “The All-American Show” – 2001

By WCJM Free Internet Radio:

After the conflict in the country in September, 2001, WCJM decided to heighten its American Pride.  The entire free Internet radio cast, minus Jeff, gathered in the studio and picked out their favorite songs that deal with America.  From Simon and Garfunkel to Justin Hayward, this show will definitely get you in an American mood!

This show is where Jim Fusco finally tried to show up everyone else.  He wrote ten pages of material for both the Food Critic and his new segment, The World Report.  The cast was a little tense after arguments about paying attention to the skits, but got out of that mood very quickly when they heard the various comedy segments.

Without a doubt, the funniest Stuffy D. Bear segment ever was heard on this show.  Stuffy showed his American pride by singing his own rendition of “God Bless America”.  He also expressed his utter longing for his brother Stuffo by singing his own song, “Stuffo Come Home.”

The cast even sang the National Anthem at the beginning of the show, making the absolute worst rendition of the song since Roseanne!  And it might be worse than that!  So, if you’re not a fan of Dave’s singing, skip past the first two minutes, but stay tuned for the rest of the All-American Show!  This is classic comedy radio at its best!

WCJM Presents: “The Tenth Anniversary Show”!!

By Chris Moore:

Hey, there, all you listeners out there in Internet radio land!  Have I got news for you!…

The Saturday after Thanksgiving was a momentous occasion for those of us at Fusco-Moore Productions, as all seven original WCJM cast members re-united for a nearly three hour morning show that took place in the morning!  (If you’re a long-time fan, you may be aware that we often record in the late afternoon or evening.)

The title of this new installment is the Tenth Anniversary Show, as it was recorded only three months after the ten year anniversary of our very first WCJM Moore Hits in the Morning show, starring (then) only Chris, Jim, and Mike.  Well, ten years later we’re still recording these shows, now with the longtime additions of Alberto, Dave, Matt, and Jeff.

This show is truly our best yet.  I say this without having heard the show yet, but just being there…  If you combine a year’s worth of quality skits, an amazing variety of music chosen by all seven cast members, and fairly equal distribution of talking by all during the show, you get “The Tenth Anniversary Show.”

So, to answer the question that’s on everyone’s minds…  How do I watch the show??

Well, I’m glad you asked.  It’s as easy as going to www.wcjm.com and clicking on the “Moore Hits in the Morning” section.
