“Nothingman” (Pearl Jam Cover)

Welcome to Tuesday’s installment of The Laptop Sessions! I’m a bit late with this post because I had Dynamis in FFXI this evening, and the take I did before that didn’t come out very well. So I had to do it after that.

The song I chose tonight is called “Nothingman” by Pearl Jam. It is from their 3rd album “Vitalogy”. I love this album and plan on doing a couple more songs from Pearl Jam in future sessions.

Due to an index finger injury to my left hand two months ago, I still have some problems getting the Bb chord down on an acoustic guitar. It is getting better, but you may notice a sound quality difference when I play that chord.

Tomorrow is Original Wednesday (well, literally in 1 hour 15 minutes), so look for Jim to come out with another great original song. Stay tuned!

Thank you for visiting the site today!  Just wanted to let you know that, despite my best efforts, I do not have a new video to debut today.

I’ll tell you what the plan was.  I had a couple of videos that I recorded a while ago that I just wasn’t happy about posting, so I thought today would be a great day to post one of those as sort of a “here’s what I held back, and perhaps you can see why I did” videos.

However, it did not dawn on me that those 3 videos are stored on my old laptop.

The same one that hasn’t worked in 4 months.

Oops.

So despite this hiccup, I will be posting a new video on Saturday!  Please do come back for the latest in our series!

No, it’s not some weird censorship.

The power at our house has gone out. I don’t have an Iphone either.

So I’m typing this very brief post on my cell phone to inform you that you will have to wait until tomorrow to hear from a new band for the site.

I think i’ll call it “Flippin’ blackout Friday”, but do note that some words have been changed to preserve the PG rating of the site.

Sick Jeff = no post tonight

Good evening everyone.  Due to my really bad state of health at this point in time, I will be delaying my next post until next Thursday.  My head hurts, i’m coughing up a storm, my throat is scratchy, and my legs are in a lot of pain.  I called out sick tomorrow as well.

Because of this, next week you will see a special double post – my next video and the next installment of my article.  I apologize to those who were looking forward to my video tonight – you’ll just have to wait until Jeff is in tip-top shape!
