Recently, Jim Fusco of the Laptop Sessions acoustic cover songs music video blog reached 1,000 subscribers on the popular video site YouTube.
Jim has been recording videos for the Laptop Sessions series for over three years and has amassed over 200 videos. He has almost 700,000 video views and is happy to reach this goal of 1,000 subscribers.
His new season of cover song music videos begins in September, 2010. Jim’s next goal is to reach 1,000,000 video views. Stay tuned!
Today, Jim Fusco reached 800 YouTube video subscribers! This was done without a single “invite”, meaning these are all people who listened to Jim’s acoustic cover song music videos and liked them so much, they decided to subscribe.
Here’s looking forward to Jim’s goal of 1,000 subscribers and a million views!

Folks, I’m proud to announce that I’ve crossed over the half-million mark. Yes, 500,000 YouTube video views on my acoustic cover songs and counting! The popularity of this YouTube series has skyrocketed since I started it all back in late 2007. It feels like so much longer than two years. But, 200 videos, over 730 subscribers, and over a half-million video views later, here we are!
The numbers continue to grow and I can only hope that the next 500,000 (which I’m hoping will come in just half the time as the first half-million) will be comprised of more views from the blog itself and not through searches on YouTube.
Thank you to all my subscribers and everyone that’s helped make the Laptop Sessions such an internet sensation!
Incredible! It happened by surprise, as Jim Fusco logged-in to his YouTube account and noticed that he had 500 subscribers to his acoustic cover songs and original music videos! Jim’s looking forward to his next milestone of 250,000 views, which he hopes will come within the next couple of months.
It’s been a great run since Jim started recording his Laptop Sessions acoustic cover songs back in November of 2007. In less than a year and a half, Jim has rocketed to popularity with his YouTube videos, which he brings to the world on a weekly basis.
His album “Halfway There” came out April 7th, 2009.
