Video Blog Milestone – Jeff Copperthite eclipses 30,000 views!

By Jeff Copperthite:

That’s right – another milestone to file away to the books. Jeff Copperthite has climbed to over 30,000 views on Youtube, achieving the mark only 39 days after reaching 20,000 views.

“This is the fastest that we have been obtaining video views ever. It took me nearly 6 months of Laptop Sessions acoustic cover videos to reach 20,000. To only take 39 days to increase that viewcount 50% is simply amazing”, says Jeff.

Jeff is well ahead of the pace to obtaining 40,000 views by the end of August, a goal he established at the start of summer.

We at guitarbucketlist.com would like to thank you – our loyal fans – who keep coming back for a brand new acoustic cover video every day. As long as you keep returning, we’ll keep covering!

Another Video Blog Milestone: Songwriter Jeff Copperthite at 20,000 views!

By Jeff Copperthite:

Another milestone! And in only 52 days! I have reached 20K views on Youtube!

I am pleased to have reached this milestone, as it brings me another 10K views to my goal of 40K by the end of the summer. I want to thank all of you loyal guitarbucketlist.com visitors. This motivates me further to continue to provide the best acoustic cover song videos that I can!

My viewcount increased 10K in 52 days. That makes my views per day stat 192.31. The past week or two (thanks mostly to my Jakob Dylan video) I have been averaging 250 views per day. And this statistic can only go up from here!

We continue to please and you can expect more songs from new bands, previously covered bands, and more top notch original music videos from Jim, Chris, and myself. Again, thank you for helping me reach this wonderful milestone. Here’s to the next 10K and beyond!

“All Things Must Pass” (George Harrison Cover)

By Jim Fusco:

Hello everyone and welcome to my first installment of “Title Track Week” here at The Laptop Sessions! Chris and Jeff have already put forth two strong efforts, so I had to follow suit. I have such a list of songs to add to the Sessions, but I can’t seem to sit myself down to do a few lately. Don’t have much choice come Friday!

Tonight, I bring you the title track of the most successful post-Beatles solo album from one of the group’s members: “All Things Must Pass”. This is a great album, of course, and expect to hear many songs from this one in the future.

This is a great song that has a very insightful message, especially considering that George is now passed. We actually played this song in tribute to him on one of our radio shows over at WCJM.com Free Internet Radio.

This video was done a bit differently- I used my new ZOOM H2 microphone, which is really awesome, to record the audio. It came out great, but unfortunately became kind of a big project because the H2 wouldn’t properly connect to my Macbook. I hoped to do all of my Sessions with this microphone from now on, but the Mac doesn’t give the option to use the internal camera’s video and the ZOOM’s audio. Of course, you know I’ll keep trying to find a solution…

I hope you enjoy today’s Session and come back to https://guitarbucketlist.com tomorrow for another great “Original Wednesday” video from Chris Moore!

Happy Birthday to Bob Dylan, Songwriter Extraordinaire!

By Chris Moore:

Well, it’s not my day to post a video blog, but I couldn’t let it slip by without acknowledging my favorite songwriter’s 67th birthday. I’m referring to Bob Dylan, of course! We’ve recorded a good deal of acoustic covers of his songs already (just select “Bob Dylan” in the “categories” list to your left), and I look forward to playing many more. In fact, we’re planning a “Triple Threat Tuesday” soon for his Nashville Skyline tune “Tonight I’ll Be Staying Here With You.”

So, as the day comes to a close, I hope you’ve had a chance to listen to your favorite Dylan song or, (for the die hard fans) read your favorite poem from Tarantula! 🙂

See you tomorrow for my video blog post — the first acoustic cover of a new theme-based week!
