Video Blog Milestone: Songwriter Jim Fusco’s 100th YouTube subscriber!!

Well, almost a month ahead of schedule, today I received my 100th YouTube subscriber!

Even though this number pales in comparison to Chris’ subscriber count, I’m still very proud of it because I’d say about 95 of these subscribers decided to subscribe on their own. I mean, I didn’t invite them to subscribe- they saw my videos and liked them enough to choose to watch them as soon as they come out! What a testament to the power of the Laptop Sessions.

But, I won’t be so high-and-mighty anymore, as I really just wanted to reach 100 “natural” subscribers. Now, I’ll be doing a bit more work finding the people that love my videos…but don’t quite know it yet.

With that said, thank you to my Top 100 and, as promised, the 100th subscriber will be getting his $10 Fusco-Moore Store gift certificate…as soon as YouTube is done performing site maintenance.

Welcome to another Monday, Monday version of the Laptop Sessions!

Back here with my first video from Stone Temple Pilots, a band Jeff got me into. I love a lot of their hits, but this one clearly stood out to me. Anyone who’s familiar with my musical tastes will be able to figure out why.

“Sour Girl” has some great singing, a great tune, and an interesting message about a girl who seems very unhappy while around the singer, and happy when she looks away. What great fodder for a song!

Now, I need to mention this, and I hope my upwards of 100 subscribers will check this out:

Will YOU get the Revenge? We certainly hope so!

“Homestead’s Revenge”, the new album from Masters of the Universe, is coming out tomorrow.

April Fools?

We hope not, but I for one won’t believe it until I see it.

Needless to say, I’ll be downstairs mastering songs for a LONG time tonight, then working on covers, back covers, inside spreads, mp3 files, and websites. Ugh. But, this album’s worth it- you’re going to LOVE it!
